Kingdoms Under Siege – Your First Kingdom Tutorial

Your First Kingdom — Beginner’s Tutorial

Welcome to the realm. This written tutorial walks you through a careful first session in Kingdoms Under Siege. Keep it open alongside the game and work through one step at a time. You do not need to buy gold or attack another player to follow this introduction.

Your goal: understand your keep, check supplies, plan a small force and find your next adventure and its result. Costs and requirements can change during the public beta: read the live panel before confirming an action.

Step 1 — Set up your identity

Create a free Sam’s Kingdom account, then follow the Passport and game setup prompts. Choose your kingdom name and enter Kingdoms Under Siege. Returning players should use the same account.

Checkpoint: My keep shows your kingdom and its resources.

Step 2 — Read your keep before spending

Find gold, food and level. Look at ready troops, troops away and troops recovering. Ready at home is the force available to protect the keep; the total number you own is not necessarily the number available now.

Read your wall and watchtower panels. Note the current levels without pressing upgrade yet.

Step 3 — Check the food balance

Open Farm & granary and read the production and use information. Return to My keep and find the daily food balance. Consider supplies before adding lots of fighters.

Checkpoint: you understand the difference between food stored now and food gained or used over time.

Step 4 — Plan recruits and equipment together

Open Recruits to compare fighters and prices, then Armory to read equipment descriptions. Plan a modest purchase while keeping gold for supplies and recovery. You can simply compare options, or buy once you have read the details.

After a purchase, let the request finish and check the new totals before pressing again.

Step 5 — Review home protection

Return to My keep. Read about walls, watchtower, drawbridge and protection. Check what raising the bridge uses before changing it. No single defence should be assumed to stop every attack.

Plan which troops to leave at home. Ready troops defend while you are offline; away and recovering troops cannot fight in that defence.

Step 6 — Choose a manageable adventure

Open Adventures. Read a mission’s requirements and any duration and reward information shown. Start only when you meet its requirements and are comfortable with the commitment. Otherwise return to your keep and prepare.

Checkpoint: you know what you are sending and what remains at home. After starting, check the mission status rather than immediately sending again.

Step 7 — Read the result

Allow the displayed task or timer to complete. Check Adventures and Messages for the outcome. Review resources and troop availability, and investigate Castle hospital if troops need recovery.

Before ending your session, check food, home troops and protection. On your next visit, read reports before making new plans.

Your next chapter

Explore the Realm Map, look at alliances and study the raid options before choosing your first battle. You can continue preparing and taking adventures while learning.
