Kingdoms Under Siege – Frequently Asked Questions

Kingdoms Under Siege — Frequently Asked Questions

New to the realm, or unsure what a number on your keep means? These answers cover the basics of Kingdoms Under Siege. The game is in public beta: check the live screen for current costs, requirements and timers before confirming an action.

What kind of game is it?

It is an online medieval fantasy strategy game about managing a kingdom, preparing troops, improving defences and choosing adventures or battles. Read About Kingdoms Under Siege for an overview.

Is it free to start?

Yes. You can create a free account and begin playing. Optional gold packs are sold separately for real money. Check the checkout total before purchasing; a free account does not automatically buy a pack.

Why do I need a Kingdom Passport?

Your account and Passport connect your identity with your kingdom and saved progress. Follow the setup prompts before entering the game. Use the same account when returning.

What should I look at first?

Open My keep and check gold, food, level and troop availability. Then look at Farm & granary before recruiting a large army. Keeping enough supplies and a force at home is a useful foundation.

What is the difference between ready, away and recovering troops?

Ready troops at home are available to defend your keep. Away troops are committed elsewhere, and recovering troops are wounded. The live keep explains that away and wounded troops cannot fight in your home defence.

Can I be attacked while offline?

Yes: your ready troops defend your keep even when you are offline. Logging out is not a protection action. Review your defences and the troops you leave at home before sending an expedition.

Why does food matter?

Food supports your army. The beginner’s guide warns that an army without food becomes much weaker. Check both your stock and the daily food balance shown by the game, especially before expanding your forces.

Does a raised drawbridge stop every attack?

No. The current keep explains that a raised bridge blocks rams, while archers and wizards can attack from outside and ladders can help attackers cross. Raising uses a crew allowance. Read your current bridge panel before changing its state, and lower it before sending a raid as instructed there.

Where can I find missions and battle results?

Open Adventures to review available missions and their requirements. Check Messages for reports and notices. Read the outcome carefully before trying an action again, particularly if troops are still away.

Where do I find allies?

Open Alliances to see the options available to your kingdom. Some actions have level or membership requirements; the live panel gives the current conditions. Top alliances provides another way to explore the community.

Do I need to install an app?

You can play through the website with an internet connection. The game also offers installation options for Windows and Android for a separate game window and device icon. These use your existing account and kingdom.

What if something appears stuck?

Allow the current request to finish before clicking again. Note the screen name, any error text and what happened. Use Help & support in the game or Contact the Kingdom. Do not send passwords or full card details. If a purchase appears delayed, ask for help with the order rather than immediately buying again.
