About Kingdoms Under Siege
Build a kingdom. Plan your next move. Protect what you leave behind.
Kingdoms Under Siege is Sam’s Kingdom’s online medieval fantasy strategy game. You manage a keep, gather resources, recruit and equip troops, explore adventures and compete with other kingdoms. Knights, archers and wizards share a realm where preparation matters as much as the size of an army.
What do you do in the game?
Your keep is the centre of your kingdom. From there you can review your gold and food, check which troops are ready at home, and improve your walls and watchtower. Other areas let you recruit fighters, choose equipment, care for wounded troops and plan expeditions.
There is more than one way to spend a visit. You might strengthen your defences, prepare for an adventure, support an alliance or study a rival before deciding whether to raid. Resources spent on one goal are resources you cannot spend elsewhere, so choosing priorities is part of the challenge.
A living realm of other kingdoms
The Realm Map provides a view of the world, while kingdom profiles and leaderboards help you discover other players. Alliances add a cooperative side to the competition. Messages and reports help you keep track of what has happened and decide what to do next.
Sending troops away has consequences for the force left at home. Ready troops defend your keep even while you are offline; away and recovering troops are not available for that defence. A careful ruler checks both sides of an expedition before sending it.
How do I start?
You need a free Sam’s Kingdom account and a Kingdom Passport to connect your identity with your saved progress. Follow the setup prompts, name your kingdom and begin at My keep. You can read the public guides before joining.
The game runs online and needs an internet connection. Optional gold packs are available for real money; creating an account does not by itself buy a pack. Read the price and purchase details before choosing an optional purchase.
Public beta
Kingdoms Under Siege is in public beta and is actively being developed. Features, prices, rewards and balance can change. Use the information displayed in the live game when deciding what an action will cost or do.
If something goes wrong, tell the team which screen you were using, what you tried and what happened. Helpful reports make it easier to investigate problems.
Choose your next step
Fantasy battles and competitive play are part of the game. Families should consider the game’s community features and optional purchases when deciding how younger players take part.
